HOW/WHY CHOSE FIELD: I was put in charge of computers when they marched onto the scene at work, so I had no choice but to learn about them. I found I had an aptitude for them so I changed fields and haven’t looked back.
I WISH I HAD KNOWN YEARS AGO: I should have bought Microsoft at its IPO!
LIFE LESSON: Look forward rather than dwell on the past.
MENTOR: My father. He was amazing. He was pivotal in hiring the first women executives at Avon Products.
