ADVICE TO PASS ON: Every day is an opportunity; don’t let it be a missed one.

DEFINING CAREER MOMENT: When I realized life was more important than earnings per share, I left the corporate world and went out on my own.

GREATEST PASSION: Travel to warm places & The Phillies.

HOW/WHY CHOSE FIELD: I was put in charge of computers when they marched onto the scene at work, so I had no choice but to learn about them. I found I had an aptitude for them so I changed fields and haven’t looked back.

I WISH I HAD KNOWN YEARS AGO: I should have bought Microsoft at its IPO!

LIFE LESSON: Look forward rather than dwell on the past.

MENTOR: My father. He was amazing. He was pivotal in hiring the first women executives at Avon Products.

MOST REWARDING: Making people happy.

MOTIVATOR: Being challenged.
