DEFINING CAREER MOMENT: At my first review at my first law firm I learned how men and women perceive things differently when a male colleague told me I was assertive but not in an acerbic kind of way.
FIRST JOB: Babysitting for my neighbor’s children. They had junk food and we didn’t at home, so it was perfect.
HOW/WHY CHOSE FIELD: I chose law because of the intellectual aspect of it – debating and negotiation and the chance to advise people. Insurance chose me.
