HOW/WHY CHOSE FIELD: My father was born with a profound hearing loss which he never let interfere with his life. I learned first hand the many obstacles one faces as well as the effects on family members. I knew at a very young age that my career would involve hearing.

KEY TO SUCCESS: Being flexible and open minded.

LEADERSHIP TIP: Hire staff who share your vision/mission.

MENTOR: My grandmother who always said "Live every day to the fullest and be the best you that you can be".

MOST PROUD OF: Being chairperson of the Audiology Awareness Campaign. I’ve been the foundation director since its 1994 inception and spearheaded a coalition of audiologists to educate America about hearing care.
