FIRST JOB: I was a counselor specializing in dance at Temple University Sports Camp.

HOW CHOSE FIELD: By accident: I was working for the city, but there was a hiring freeze. I saw an ad for Prudential, knew it was a good company, and inquired about being an agent. The rest is history.

PROUD OF: My very varied insurance background. I know something about every area, which enables me to be an excellent consultant.

DEFINING CAREER MOMENT: At the University of PA Business Development Center, I met someone with a National Platform of educating families and communities about Legacy Wealth. We have developed a partnership and have become friends.

KEYS TO SUCCESS: Be open to other ideas and ways of getting things accomplished.

MOTIVATOR: Providing for my nieces and nephews so they can get an education without worrying about money; and to make sure my clients' foundations are covered so that a claim won't take them out financially.

BIGGEST INFLUENCE: My parents who provided a good foundation from which to grow. They support all I do, even if they don't agree with it.

LEADERSHIP TIP: Lead by example; do what you expect of others.

ADVICE TO PASS ON: Surround yourself with people who have been where you are now and are going where you want to go.

FOR A LAUGH: I watch reruns of Seinfeld and Martin.
